| The region
is a massive valley situated in the extreme North Eastern part of
India, through which the mighty Brahamaputra river meanders it’s
course down from the high Himalayan peaks into the Bay of Bengal.
Draped along both banks of the river, the whole length of the valley
is dotted with tea estates which produce teas that are the very
foundation of many of the finest tea blends.
Assam produces superlative Orthodox as well as CTC Teas which
are brisk and full bodied. Being very gutty, both types are best
enjoyed with a dash of milk.
