Teas
from Ceylon are of two distinct tea types. The up country estates
produce delicately flavored and bright liquors which are great
‘any time of the day’ teas. A natural added advantage
of these ‘Up-Country' teas is an inherent quality of these
liquors not ‘clouding over’ when the tea is chilled
which also makes these teas a perfect base for iced teas. On the
other end of the spectrum, the low-country estates produce thick
gutty liquors.
Taken as a whole, Ceylon offers a variety of teas which range
from being delicate brews, to those which are strong morning or
evening teas, best had with milk.
