Manufactured
in a way similar to Black Tea, Oolongs are best described as ‘half-way
home’ teas in which the two processes of withering and fermentation
are reduced in such a way as to produce a tea which evokes the qualities
of both Black and Green. Oolong tea has been described as "Yu
Xiang Hui Wei" as it goes through so many different production
stages in order to generate a good flavor and aroma.
Our range of special Oolongs emanate from the provinces of Fujian
and Changde, located deep in the interior of Changsha prefecture.
