Gurrinder
‘Indi’ Khanna– Indi is a
unique individual in the world of tea who has literally 'grown'
in the business. Starting out as a junior Tea planter in 1975
by rolling up his sleeves and dirtying his hands at the grassroots
level, Indi has ascended the ladder one rung at a time, finally
maturing into a ‘one of a kind expert' in the domain
of international tea trade. While the extraordinary passage
from tea planting to international tea trade has been an exciting
and exceptional journey, the invaluable experiences gained
along the way enable Indi to bring a unique perspective into
the business. Currently located in and operating from the
heart of 'Tea Country' in the Nilgiri Hills in South India,
Indi literally roams the tea-growing regions of the world,
including amongst the most remote and inaccessible tea estates
in Sri Lanka, India, China, and Kenya, constantly and personally
seeking out and innovating to procure the best and highest-quality
teas before finally, selecting only the very best of the best.
Whether we’re talking Single Estate Teas, Blends, Herbals,
or the more esoteric forms of tea, Indi and his experience
are there to assure the best possible in terms of quality
as well as the widest range possible. Indi’s experience
is readily available for both you, as well as YOUR customer’s
benefit.

David
Gotowko– Since he was a teenager, David
has earned experience in every aspect of the food service
industry. As a certified chef, David received the “Top
2000 Chefs in America” Award , by the “Chefs in
America Association”. As a business consultant for restaurants,
hotels, private clubs and food service companies, David advises
many world-class restaurant corporations, independent operators
and suppliers. David is currently a Board Member of the Hospitality
Network Association, an active Board Member of the College
of DuPage Hospitality & Culinary College, he is a Certified
Food & Beverage Executive, and an honorary Knight of the
Confrerie de Chevaliers de Picon - a Bordeaux Wine Societe’
in France. David is the lens through which we see and understand
you, your business, your needs, as well as your customers’
needs. |

Diane
Shelton Davenport
– ‘Lady Dee’, as Diane is known, opened
Savannah’s Restaurant and Tea Room in 2004. This, in
less than a year’s time was named the Top Tea Room in
Illinois, and one of the Top 50 in the US. This is due, in
no small part, to her offering our teas in her tea shop and
at tableside. A gifted chef and tea expert in her own right,
Lady Dee brings her culinary skills, her knowledge of tea,
and her growing national reputation to Tea ‘n’
Tea. In the process of driving demand with her warmth and
Southern Charm, Dee, along with David, provides the team with
the American perspective on tea! |
